Burn, baby! Burn!

What would you say if I tell you that, somewhere on this planet, there's a place where money have no value and people don't judge others for their way of being, what they're wearing and how they're acting?
A place where trading is nothing and giving is everything.

Lean back and imagine this world. A NEW world. A FREE world.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you AFRIKABURN !!!

Registered in South Africa as a NPC (Non Profit Company), AfrikaBurn is what each and every one of us need. Since 2007, they gather in Tankwa Karoo (South Africa) on a private isolated farm called Stonehenge and express their creativity by building an art city with theme camps.
An extraordinary place filled with music, performance, unique costumes and, why not, mutant vehicles!

If you feel the need to get away, to find yourself and to see who are you truly... well ... this is the place for you!

Encouraging the radical self-reliance and self-expression, AfrikaBurn welcomes outsiders all over the world.

As it is a community, it has its own principles. The Eleven Principles. Some of them are and will be mentioned through the text.
You are not going to a party, you are the party. Therefore, you must participate. Help the others, share your knowledge and open your heart in a place where imagination and creativity are your only wealth.

So? What's the catch?
They build, they interact, they sing, they have fun and they burn it all.
Ok, I am overreacting... They're not burning all the art and you are not forced to burn yours; but when it burns... it's a show you'll remember FOREVER!

Respecting the environment, one of their most important principle is "Leaving no trace".
Like I said, you are not at a party and leave the host to clean up. No, Sir! You pick up your things and leave everything clean.
